Instructions:

ROCKET:

• Rocket can be sown all year around. It will grow through the Winter providing you with lush green leaves for your pizza toppings and many other meals. In the Summer it is best to sprinkle your Rocket seeds in the garden every few weeks to ensure continuous supply
• Direct sow, early Spring, or Autumn. Cover the peat pellet with hot water and wait for it to rise and expand, then place it into the peat pot
• Sow a few seeds approx 2 times the depth of the seed, cover and gently firm down in the peat pellet. Keep soil moist but not wet during germination period (5-12 days)
• Once the seedlings are approx 5-10cm tall, plant the peat pot directly into the soil in your garden or a pot

BASIL:

• Basil is best sown in Summer as it likes the heat and needs heat to germinate. You can grow it indoors through Autumn if you have a hot sunny spot for it
• Cover the peat pellet with hot water and wait for it to rise and expand, then place it into the peat pot.
• Sow a few seeds approx 2 times the depth of the seed, cover and gently firm down in the peat pellet. Keep soil moist but not wet during germination period (5-12 days)
• Once the seedlings are approx 5-10cm tall, plant the peat pot directly into the soil in your garden or a pot. Basil likes a warm sunny spot and needs a pot so it can put it’s roots down deeply

TOMATO:

• Tomato’s are best sown indoors in August or early September and then pot them up as they get bigger. Once the frosts are over then you can plant them out
• Cover the peat pellet with hot water and wait for it to rise and expand, then place it into the peat pot
• Sow a few seeds approx 2 times the depth of the seed, cover and gently firm down in the peat pellet. Keep soil moist but not wet during germination period (5-12 days)
• Once the seedlings are approx 5-10cm tall, plant the peat pot directly into the soil in your garden or a pot. Tomato’s like to climb so make sure you have something you can use to support them to grow tall and strong. Also, they love the heat, so put them somewhere sunny
