Organic Sourdough Bread Starter Kit
Sourdough is a naturally leavened bread that rises without additives or commercial yeast. Instead, it relies on a starter culture, which not only helps the dough rise but also imparts its distinctive tangy flavor.
The Sourdough bread is well known for its tangy flavor, crusty crusts, and chewy texture.
Sourdough bread is far healthier than store-bought bread as the process of fermentation breaks down the gluten, making it far easier for our bodies to digest. A sourdough starter is a wild fermentation of water and flour, rich in yeast and beneficial bacteria. Beyond bread, you can use sourdough starters for a variety of treats like scones, waffles, crumpets, and crackers.
The sourdough starters adapt well to various flours. Although we primarily feed them organic stone-ground flour and organic wholemeal flour, you can easily transition the starter to any flour of your choice.

Instructions: Basic sourdough bread is made with sourdough starter, water, flour and salt. Each order receives instructions to get you started on your sourdough journey.
