LOOFAH Anoint
New product
Loofas (Luffa) are also great to use to stimulate blood circulation. When they dry, they feel quite coarse but once introduced to water they soften, and have a softer scrubby texture.
Did you know that Loofahs originate from India, where they still grow naturally. They are also known as the Sponge Gourd and/or the Egyptian Cucumber.
Why using a Loofah?
How to they grow? Once the fruit has matured the fibrous vascular tissue is harvested and dried to become a Loofah Sponge.
Directions: wet with warm water to soften it. You can then apply a small amount of soap or body scrub if desired. Using a gentle but firm circular motion, scrub your body starting below your neck and working your way down to your ankles.
Storage: Rinse and squeeze out your Loofah Sponge after each use and allow to dry. Either by hanging or storing on a free draining soap dish.
Note: It is recommended to soak the Loofah for 5 minutes in baking soda and warm water once a week.
Size: approx 10cm long and 6.5cm in diameter (when dry)

Many people suffer from allergies, asthma and other sensitivities because of products that contain toxins or otherwise harmful ingredients. Most of these products are used inside the house eg. for cleaning, as body care products, as a detergent and so on. We try to source products that are mostly natural and do not cause any harm to you or your environment.
What is the difference? Compostable materials provide the earth with nutrients once it has completely broken down. Biodegradable materials refer to the ability of breaking down and return to nature. Buying products that are compostable and/or biodegradable will help to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfills.
At the beginning of most production chains are the workers and farmers (producers). Sadly they do not always get a fair share of the benefits of the trade. You as a consumer can now make a conscious decision about buying fairtrade or fairly traded products and putting this right.
