How to use:
1. Unscrew the head of the razor from the handle.

2. Place blades between he two top plates, holding by the blunt edges.

3. Screw the handle back on and shave away!

4. Replace the blade when it goes blunt. On average this is every fifth shave, less for thick hair, more for fine hair.

5. Rinse the Razor after thoroughly after each use. Clean away soap and hair then let dry out of the shower.

Store your Razor safely out of the shower between uses and take care not to drop your Razor.

Note: Secure screw in blade with 2 top holding plates for durability and safety. The blade is held tightly between these two plates and you can shave with both sides.

The Blade Take Back Program:
CaliWoods take Sustainability seriously. Therefore they are offering a blade back program.

USE - Use, love and shave sustainably until the blades are no longer sharp enough for the job
DRY - Clean the blade and dry thoroughly
POST - The Blades back to us! Once you have 40 or more, seal the supplied envelope and wrap it into another (so the postman/postwoman hands are safe) then post your blades back to CaliWoods
REPURPOSE - This bit is our job. Most councils and recycling centres don't accept single blades because of their small size and sharp edges. Using people power and the magic of squirrelling these blades away over time, we have a few ideas for using the material and/or there will be enough to feasibly recycle

When we source our products, we try to find as many environmental benefits as possible. We source eco products that do not cause any unnecessary harm to our environment.

Made from recycled materials or is recyclable

Recycling has many benefits like saving energy, conserving raw materials, reducing the amount of stuff that goes to landfills and it's also saving you money. 2.5 Million Tons of waste go to landfills each year (8kg per person/week) 3/4 could be saved by re-using, recycling and composting. Re-duce, Re-use, Re-cycle!

Fairly traded or Fairtrade certified

At the beginning of most production chains are the workers and farmers (producers). Sadly they do not always get a fair share of the benefits of the trade. You as a consumer can now make a conscious decision about buying fairtrade or fairly traded products and putting this right.

Contain no toxins or harmful ingredients

Many people suffer from allergies, asthma and other sensitivities because of products that contain toxins or otherwise harmful ingredients. Most of these products are used inside the house eg. for cleaning, as body care products, as a detergent and so on. We try to source products that are mostly natural and do not cause any harm to you or your environment.

Reduce the dependence on oil

Many household items are made of plastic. Because plastic doesn't react chemically with most other substances, it doesn't break down or decay. Therefore, plastic poses a significant environmental problem as it hangs around in the environment for a very long time. We stock many products that use little or no plastic in order to reduce our dependence on oil.

Is compostable or biodegradable

What is the difference? Compostable materials provide the earth with nutrients once it has completely broken down. Biodegradable materials refer to the ability of breaking down and return to nature. Buying products that are compostable and/or biodegradable will help to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfills.

Cruelty free

The testing on animals for cosmetic and consumer products needs to stop. Whether you decide to buy only vegan products, or just start incorporating more cruelty-free products into your life, it's definitely worth to go animal friendly. The products we source are cruelty-free and do not harm or kill animals in their making.
