birds or beneficial insects like earthworms?
It's effective against more than 200 insects and pests, including black spot, mildews, rust, scab, whiteflies, aphids, scale, borer, spider mites, grass grub, mealy bugs, thrips, leaf spots, codling moth, nematodes, leaf rollers, leafhoppers and botrytis.
Shake the bottle well, add 5 to 15ml of neem oil insecticide per litre of water and mix well, then spray. Apply on a 7 to 14 day schedule until disease pressure is no longer present, or weekly if treating an active outbreak before moving to a 14-day maintenance schedule.
To prevent rust, leaf spot, anthracnose and scab, begin applications at the first sign of spring budding. For powdery mildew, apply in mid-summer or as soon as disease is first detected.
The supplier markets it as having additional traditional uses such as a fly repellent for wound care on animals, though for sunscreen-grade or therapeutic uses you'd want their separate pure neem oil product rather than this garden insecticide formulation.
