The kit includes four recycled plastic EnsoPet sides that clip together into a bottomless cylinder, one recycled plastic EnsoPet lid, 1kg of EnsoPet Starter Zing, a pair of tongs, and instructions.
Choose a spot in the garden away from edible plants and phosphorus-sensitive natives, dig a hole about 40cm deep and 40cm wide, place the composter so only the lid sits above ground, then back-fill soil around the outside.
EnsoPet composts dog, cat, rabbit and guinea pig waste. Use the tongs to add waste to the composter, then sprinkle EnsoPet Starter Zing on top to kick-start breakdown.
Because waste continuously breaks down with the help of the Starter Zing microbes, the composter can take many months to fill, or may never completely fill. If it does fill, you can simply relocate it to another spot in the garden, or install a second unit if you have multiple pets.
