Made in New Zealand, EM-1 is a liquid concentrate of beneficial microorganisms — lactic acid bacteria, yeasts, photosynthetic bacteria, and actinomycetes — that activate soil life, improve soil structure, and promote plant growth. It also accelerates composting, reduces pet odours, supports septic tank health, and works as a natural household cleaner.

Use directly or enhance activity by adding equal parts molasses or raw sugar to the diluted solution, which provides a food source for the microbes. Sold in a 1-litre bottle in recyclable HDPE plastic.
