Our Sweet Orange essential oil is cold pressed from the rind of the orange tree.

The sweet orange tree, native to China, is now cultivated in the Mediterranean and warmer parts of North and South America. Our orange essential oil has a typical orange scent and ranges in colour from yellow to orange.

Traditionally, orange essential oils were used in Chinese medicine to treat colds, coughs, flu, and infections. In the 15th century, oranges were introduced to Western Africa, Europe, and America.

For thousands of years, orange essential oils have been utilized for various purposes, including room sprays, skin toners, medicine, aromatherapy, and personal care products. Orange oil is popular in aromatherapy for its ability to reduce anxiety and stress. It can be used in diffusers or room sprays to provide a fresh, invigorating aroma.
