Soapnut Shells, 250G
Natural, eco-friendly Soapnut Shells for gentle, effective cleaning – 250g pack for sustainable living.
Soapnut Shells, 250G
Soapnut shells are the dried fruit of the Sapindus Mukorossi tree, grown in India. The shells contain saponin — a natural surfactant that releases when they come into contact with water and acts as a gentle, effective detergent. The 250g size is a good starting point if you are trying soapnuts for the first time. It washes up to 90 loads of laundry or dishes and includes 1 cotton wash bag.
Place 6 to 8 shells in the included muslin bag and add it to your washing machine with your laundry. Each bag of shells can be reused for approximately 6 washes. Once the shells are soft and spent, they go straight into the compost.
