Made in New Zealand, the Twin Bokashi Kit gives you two 15-litre fermentation bins — the practical solution for households that generate more kitchen waste than one bin can handle at a time. While one bin ferments (sealed for 7 days after filling), the second is in active use. No waiting, no interruption to your composting routine.
Each bin processes meat, fish, dairy, cooked food, fruit and vegetables — everything a standard compost bin cannot take. Collect scraps, empty into the bokashi bucket, press down firmly, sprinkle a layer of Compost-Zing, and seal the lid. Drain liquid regularly and dilute as a plant feed. When full, let it sit for 7 days then bury in the garden or add to a compost bin. Speeds composting by up to 50%.Â

Product was as described on website. I liked that you get two bokashi bins in a kit set, the delivery service used is really good in my area so I felt confident I would get my parcel, no damage etc. I felt the price of the product was good in comparison to some other options I was looking at. I know that in the research it talks about what you need, I wish the start pack had everything you needed e.g. I need to go out and buy a potato masher as I don't own one, you need something like this, I'm not using a plate as suggested on the instruction manual, have another container for the compost zing as these are not resealable bags, you also need a table spoon, measuring device. These are big containers, I am concerned about the type of containers if you have worked in catering or restaurant these containers can start to break over time because of the constant opening, so can't comment on longevity, I only just got the bins 2 days ago so can't comment on the function, I just don't want to worry about remembering to write a review so just based on initial set up and arrival, I am happy with this set, wasn't open up and ready to go, but instructions included, compost zing (this smells nice, like bark chips).
