Our organic eucalyptus essential oil is derived from the leaves of eucalyptus trees, indigenous to Australia.

The country boasts nearly all 700 species of eucalyptus trees, with around 500 of these species producing essential oil. Traditionally, the Australian Aborigines utilized eucalyptus leaf infusions and essential oil as a universal tonic. The eucalyptus tree has since spread globally to regions such as Europe, China, Brazil, Greece, and India, and the essential oil has become a staple in traditional medicine worldwide.

Our organic eucalyptus oil is sourced from the eucalyptus globulus variety, noted for its high levels of 1,8 cineole and limonene. This organic eucalyptus oil possesses a fantastic scent, making it perfect for use in essential oil diffusers, soaps, and other cosmetics. It can also be used in an essential oil diffuser to alleviate common cold symptoms and relieve pain.

The oil is steam distilled from the leaves and twigs of the tall evergreen eucalyptus tree. It is pale yellow in colour, with a fresh and sweet aroma. Eucalyptus oil blends particularly well with lemon essential oil, creating a citrusy and sweet scent with a woody undertone. Peppermint essential oil is also a common partner for eucalyptus oil, known for its effectiveness in clearing congestion.
