Home Compostable, Resealable Zip Lock Sandwich Bags

These sandwich bags are fantastic. I reuse them for 5 - 10 days in the school lunch box. Yes, totally home compostable, I just add them to my compost pile, and they quickly break down. So happy to have a plastic alternative.

We purchased these as we have been reducing single use plastic in our household, and have been finding that we don't really have our stash of bread bags and other plastic bags that food comes in any more. We needed something we could put smaller foods that aren't so great in a container into the freezer, such as chopped veges and small portions of meat. We haven't yet composted them, but they feel like they will break down well. They feel strong, which is great as we will use them several times until they become to hard to clean.

Finally I can use zip lock bags without feeling terrible and not causing the environment harm.
