Beeswax Wraps Honeywrap, Create your own, Starter Kit
A kit for making your own Honeywrap beeswax wraps at home, from the NZ-made Honeywrap team. Includes two medium plain organic cotton squares (unwaxed), one small printed organic fabric (unwaxed), one snack-size Honeywrap already finished so you can see the result, a wax block, and instructions. Packaged in a compostable and recyclable cardboard box.
To make: place fabric on a baking sheet, grate the wax block over it, and melt in the oven at low heat. Spread evenly with a brush, then lift with tongs and wave in the air to cool and set. A satisfying process, and one that lets you reuse any fabric once you have the technique.

Turn your oven to 80°C (no higher, or it will burn the wax). Place your pre-cut organic fabric on baking paper on an oven tray, grate the wax block evenly over the fabric, and put it in the oven for about 5 minutes until the wax melts. Then use the included brush to spread the melted wax evenly over the fabric.
Yes, it's a popular craft activity for children or adults, letting you draw on and personalise your own fabric before waxing it.
You'll need some baking paper of your own, which isn't included, alongside the kit's contents.
