A steel dustpan and a beechwood-handled broom with stiff arenga palm fibre bristles. Made in Germany by Florence. No plastic anywhere in the set.
Arenga is a natural palm fibre that is naturally salt-resistant, handles wet and damp conditions without softening, and can withstand temperatures up to 150°C.

Plastic handles become brittle and break, and plastic bristles shed microplastics. The metal and wood construction is far more durable, fully repairable, and will not shed plastic into the home environment.
