I really like the resulting clean and am glad I got the 5-pack. My only niggle (the ONLY reason I've not given them 5 stars) is the slightly larger width of the head. The head could be WHY the clean feels so good, though.
It has soft nylon bristles infused with activated charcoal, designed for gentle but effective everyday cleaning.
It is responsibly made in China and packaged in a compostable and recyclable cardboard box, with no plastic wrapping.
Remove the nylon bristles first (these go in general waste since they are not compostable), then the bamboo handle can be composted at home or placed in green waste.
The NZ Dental Association recommends replacing any toothbrush, bamboo included, every three months, or sooner if the bristles become frayed or splayed.
One review notes the head is slightly wider than expected, which some find gives an especially thorough clean, though it's worth knowing if you prefer a narrower brush head.
