The handle is oiled FSC-certified beech wood and the bristles are natural Tampico plant fibres. Tampico is a durable agave-derived fibre well-suited to scrubbing dishes. The entire brush is natural and will biodegrade at end of life.
The full brush including head is 23.5cm. The head alone is 6.5cm.
In Germany. It's also designed with a curve to make cleaning glasses easier and to improve brushing ergonomics.
Rinse with hot soapy water after use. The key is to store it with bristles facing up or to the side so water drains away from the wooden handle — if left bristles-down in a pool of water or shut in a cupboard while wet, the wood can develop mould. Allow it to air dry in a ventilated spot.
Replacement heads are available separately at EcoWarehouse, making the handle last for years before disposal.
