Description

Biodegradable Ballpoint Pen

A ballpoint pen made from 49% biodegradable PLA plastic derived from natural plant starch, plus 30% post-industrial recycled material. It writes with soy-based ink through a 1.0mm tip, and is packaged in 95% recycled cardboard that is compostable and recyclable. Available in blue or black ink.

A small but considered swap for something most households go through regularly. PLA plastic breaks down under the right composting conditions rather than persisting in landfill for decades like conventional pen casings.
