Kawakawa & Tamanu SPF50+ certified natural sun protection for adults & children 6 years and older. Formulated by a registered nurse, medical herbalist and naturopath.
Kawakawa: Called the king of medicine is a native New Zealand plant that acts as an antifungal antibacterial and anti-inflammatory ingredient, filled with vitamins and minerals.
Tamanu: is known as nature's gold. Tamanu is a natural UV protection known for its anti-inflammatory, antibiotic and antioxidant properties. Accelerating health and growth of healthy skin (anti-aging).
Why use this Sunscreen:
Ingredients: Zinc oxide (Ecocert certified), NZ spring water, kawakawa oil, coconut oil, beeswax, jojoba oil, olive emulsifier, lecithin, rose hip seed oil, tamanu oil, shea butter, manono extract, moringa seed oil, active manuka honey, harakeke extract, coconut emulsifier, vegetable glycerin, stearic acid emulsifier, himalayan salt, kawakawa extract, vitamin e, sweet orange, lavender oil, rose geranium oil and vanilla fruit extract.
How to use: Apply liberally and rub in well before heading out into the sun. Although 2 hours water resistant, it is recommended applying the sunscreen before and after swimming or sweating it out. Reapply every 2 hours while out in the sun.
Although this is a product made from natural ingredients, it is recommended a patch test before you slather it on. If irritation occurs, rinse thoroughly, discontinue use and seek medical advice. Please avoid direct contact with your eyes, that’s what sunglasses are for!
Best stored in a cool dry place (below 27C/80F), away from direct sunlight (even sunscreen needs protection).
